My mom used to made this years ago and I thought she was a genius for it. But when I went to make it the first time myself, I realized the recipe was right there on the wafer box.

And though she’s still a genius, I think mine is a little better because I add Bailey’s to the whipping cream and sliced almonds and shaved chocolate to the top.

The recipe is right here.

Old School Chocolate Wafer Log - the sam livecast

Ok, so maybe I’m a little partial because this is my grandma Ruth’s recipe – but anyone who’s had it…goes mental. I’d say it’s ideal for ice cream, any kind of cake, fruit etc. But a spoonful alone is pretty damn fine too. Just make it.

Croissantinis

Welcome to ‘sweet-things’ week on the Livecast and the star today is the teeny croissant. Flaky, delicious and small enough you won’t feel guilty eating them – unless you eat 12. You can find recipe here.
