On today’s show, Sam ignites the Fall season with a gorgeous curry pumpkin soup. You literally have more fingers than ingredients for the base and after that, you just add some crispy croutons, some salt & pepper, and you’re done! Check out the recipe here. Art Bovino from The Daily Meal stopped by via Skype to entertain us with some cool food news from New York City. If you haven’t had a chance to check out The Daily Meal, you should do it soon: www.thedailymeal.com. We also had another local food blogger (Jennifer, aka Kirbie) stop by and give us delicious Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin nutella cakes. Check out her stylish blog at kirbiecravings.com for some local San Diego food posts.

So the crew is AWOL today but we didn’t want to leave you without a show so we put together a highlight show for your enjoyment. There’s some cooking segments from the earlier Livecasts and then the first ever WETS (Who eats this shit?). We’re back on Wednesday with the “Chef Bitch Table” so don’t miss out!

It’s Monday and we’re back in the studio with the full crew intact. We started off tonight’s show with a few more stories of Sam’s grocery store escapades, moved into checking out some of the best hot dogs around the country, saw a small bear crawling through the vegetables at an Alaska grocery store, and finally closed out the Livecast with not one, but TWO delicious hot dogs from Sam (a Pastrami Dog and a Japa-dog). We’ll be back for some hump day livecastin’ on Wednesday, see you then!

Its our Friday (your Thursday) and things were back to normal in the Livecast world. Steve was gone for the night so we had Shannon (who shoots Sam’s TV show) fill in and she did a great job. After starting the show with a cocktail we dove right into some talk about the crew. We then took a whole bunch of viewer questions, saw a crazy dude on the internet eat a live scorpion, and finally closed with Sam’s bacon-wrapped scallops. We’re back on Monday with more fun so have a great weekend, cook something new, and tell your friends about the show! Later people.

Tonight wasn’t quite a normal Livecast but it was still very entertaining and a lot of fun. We had Chef Paul McCabe of Kitchen 1540 and Chef Matt Gordon from Urban Solace in the house to tell us all the things they hate the most about owning and running a restaurant. It was some really cool conversation. After that Sam made an unbelievable grilled tofu that is probably something you haven’t seen before. You NEED to break out of the box and try it if for some reason you think that tofu is not for you. We’ve got another great show tomorrow night (back to normal) so tune in for some more Livecast madness.
