Ep222 – If you got a wok and a fridge full of leftovers you can do some pretty incredible things in a short amount of time. Tomato Beef Chow Mein is one of those things. You might be surprised at how quickly everything comes together.

Ep221 – If you’re a fan of Sam’s first cookbook, you probably have read the account of Max’s friends raving about Sam’s “dank” tomato pie. While times have changed and “dank” probably doesn’t ring the same bell, what they meant was that this tomato pie is fantastic. We go old school and make an early Sam the Cooking Guy recipe. Dank or not, it’s still good.

Ep220 – Garlicky, sweet, sticky, bite-sized spareribs are the perfect thing for your next New Year’s Eve get together. You can just throw everything in the oven while you reminisce with your friends about 2012. Rest assured though, when those ribs come out, people will forget about 2012 and start talking about your ribs.

Egg Drop Soup

Ep219 – Our version of the classic Chinese Egg Drop soup is something that you can literally “drop” in front of your guests in 10 minutes. It all comes together in a fantastical swirl of chicken, soy, and sesame oil. Don’t take our word for it though, it’s so easy to make you might as well try it yourself… now.
