Ginger Beef

A stir fry is one of my favorite things – because with only a few ingredients they’re easy & they’re quick. And when you add a ton of fresh ginger – they’re also fricking delicious. But heed my warning – making this with powdered ginger is not an acceptable alternative. If you don’t have fresh ginger, don’t bother making this. Instead try my Shrimp Tacos or Grilled PB & J .

Cool Asian Tots

Not sure what it is about tots, but they are one of the best things ever – and at times maybe the best thing ever. Good alone, but better with something, these are dog simple with sweet chili sauce and cool sour cream. By the way – do you think dogs are offended by that expression?

White Clam Flatbread

Sometimes the best things are the simplest – and that’s what today is all about. Four ingredients that taste like 24. Boy oh boy. And btw, I just realized the pic looks more green than white – that’s just the green onions (which my family says I have an obsession with).  Obsession – perhaps. Delicious – absofrickinglutely.

Kale Chips

A few years ago kale was a leafy green thing that no one much cared about – now it’s everywhere. And not only is it delicious in all sorts of places, but today we make it into chips you can almost swap out your potato chips for. Delicious, crunchy & salty. Oh, and healthy – there’s always that. And did I mention that we also announce the winners of the #favsamrecipe contest and chat with Ryan from Squarespace – because we do.  Happy Wednesday!

This could be the poster child for healthy, delicious eating. The title says it all so any more of a description would just make me sound like a pompous restaurant chef trying to showboat. Oh what the hell, let’s try it:

‘Hand caught local alabaster sea scallops served on a bed of forest shiitake mushrooms and Okinawan snow peas that have been delicately sautéed with fresh ginger, garlic and just a soupçon of aged tamari’

Damn I’m good.
