Today we make an amazingly simple, quick, and deliciously hearty shrimp and grits. It’s definitely one of those go-to dishes when the weather outside is a little blah and you need a warm and fiery dish to make you feel better. We also check out a flourishing cake biz and balance that out by looking at Alyse Levine’s 12 healthy snacks of 2012.

    Yeah, the read face thing. I understand. Sam, Livecast–Help Line for Alcoholics–I love it! Not really. It was refreshing to hear someone else has this problem. I don’t consider myself an alcoholic, but it makes one wonder, doesn’t it? Anyway, I am a few years older than you, and I experienced the same thing a couple of years ago. You must learn to just power through it. It seems to come and go, but it has mostly disappeared of late. Possibly I outgrew it, or it could be the more you drink, the more you ignore it. Anyway, cheers!
