It’s a good day to be a part of The Sam Livecast…cuz we’ve made it to 300 episodes!  We have had momentous occasions in the past, but for some reason reaching this number feels like the biggest. We’d like to thank every single person that’s been there with us from the beginning and all those that have joined a long the way – you guys are what make this show amazing!  We would be nowhere without your input, and for 300 episodes every fan has helped to shape the show into what it is today. For all of that, thank you again so much for keeping us alive.

To mark the occasion we decided to treat ourselves a little bit with a beautiful filet mignon topped with crab and bernaise sauce. It couldn’t have been a better way to help us remember why we love our jobs and why we keep coming back – which is what you should do as well!  Happy 300th!

With a tear in our eyes, we must announce the end of Spam Week – and it’s been great. This episode we’re calling the ‘Solocast’, because with Max & Lynn taking the day off, Sam is all alone making Chipotle Spam Balls. And in the interest of everything that’s right in the world, we have to ask – “does mankind need something called Chipotle Spam Balls? Good question – guess you’ll have to just watch and see…

Well, apparently you people really like spam! We have been getting a great response from everybody after the last show and we just want to thank you all for spreading the word about the Livecast. After dicing the spam last week and tossing it into a pan, this week Sam sliced off little patties of the spam and proceeded to give them so color in a hot grill pan. After doing the same thing with some pineapple slices and warming a little hawaiian roll (heat changes things), we we’re ready to put together our perfect little bites of hawaiian heaven – don’t forget the teriyaki mayo!

We also managed to catch up on the latest installment in the Paula Dean controversy, chatted about the upcoming MasterChef episode, highlighted some viewer comments and wrapped up with the top ten list of highest paid chefs in the industry. Next up is MasterChef Friday’s – we’ve got something special planned so be sure not to miss.

Every once in a while Sam decides that he’d like to get everybody eating something completely different than what they normally do – this is one of those weeks. Have you ever tried Spam, the mystery meat delicacy that has been going strong since 1937? Either way you’ll be wanting to eat some soon with these new recipes that come together as Spam Week. We start with these Spam and Rice Baked Eggs – just sit back and watch the magic.

The finale of Tequila Week converges with MasterChef Friday’s to create one epic episode, packed with behind the scenes discussion from not one, but three of the final 11 competitors of MasterChef season 4. Lynn brought along friends from the show, Savannah and Natasha, and after some lively conversation about the recent episode we managed to get the girls in the kitchen for our very own mystery box challenge. If there was ever any doubt – these girls can cook!
