Sup Livecasters! It’s the first episode of our Thanksgiving week and we have an amazing recipe for a superb stuffing omelette you’ll salivate over. We also get a peek into the sad food life of a UC Davis college student. This episode was brought to you by the spice Sage, the official Thanksgiving spice of The Sam Livecast. It was definitely a key component in the stuffing Sam made for the omelette. Again, it’s Thanksgiving Week Livecasters, so watch all week to get tips on how to make this Thanksgiving the tastiest one of all.

Wasabi mashed potatoes with a perfectly cooked slab of salmon is a combination you HAVE to try. With that being said, watch this episode to get an idea of how easy and fast it is to make. You just need a few ingredients on hand you’ll have dinner in about 10 minutes from start to finish. We talk so much random food news today that it will not do it justice describing it here. Just trust me, you’ll be entertained (and mildly grossed out) when you tune in.

Oh, and happy birthday to the Marine Corps!

This show should have been called, “My whole world has been turned upside-down by Art Bovino (of the dailymeal.com). Today on our little chat with our NYC representative, we discovered the wonderful (or wonderfully disgusting) world of McMashups. You’ll just have to watch to see what kind of creations that people have come up with using only McDonalds products. My personal favorite of the night being the “McWichCameFirst”. Brilliant. We also had Sam give some tips about buying knives. If you are thinking about spending money on that knife block set you’ve always wanted, tune in first and listen to some good advice. Finally, Sam busts out another easy and tasty Asian-inspired recipe with a tomato & egg stirfry with steamed rice. So satisfying.

On today’s episode of the livecast, we get a firsthand story about one of Sam’s failed auditions as a television host in New York City. We also go through lots of random bits from around the web including a Black Metal Vegan, sea monkeys, and San Diego Beer Week. Was it completely random? Yes. But there was lots to talk about today and lots of fans to interact with. With football season in full swing, Sam ends the show by appropriately making the ultimate weekend sports day snack: Chili-Frito Bags. Stupid simple and amazingly delicious.

You know what’s weird? Sam wearing a scarf to cover up his unusually blotchy red neck. You know what’s NOT weird? A delicious and super fast cheesesteak style sandwich using thin slices of sirloin, peppers, onions, provolone cheese, a splash of Worcestershire, and a dash of Montreal Steak Seasoning (I just got hungry typing that out). Well lucky for you, tonight’s livecast contains the weird and non-weird alike. Sam also rants about the pathetic publicity stunt that is Kim Kardashian and finds out just how dumb a recipe can be on the Food Network’s website. It was a good week livecasters, thanks for participating via Facebook (www.facebook.com/samthecookingguy) and Twitter (@thecookingguy).
