Ep230 – We’re closing out sandwich week with this melty, cheesy open faced crab sandwich. Topped with pepperjack for some tangy flavor and thrown under the broiler to toast and melt, anybody with hands can put this sandwich together. We’re back next week with “Super Bowl” foods – we’ll see you then.

Tuna Cristo

Ep229 – As sandwich week continues we dive into an old classic with a new twist. Our version of the Monte Cristo replaces ham with tuna salad, jicama and red peppers to make a Tuna Cristo. It still gets dipped in the egg mixture and grilled on the flattop for a most delicious sandwich. And we still have one more great sandwich to close out the week! We’ll see you Friday.

Ep228 – It’s sandwich week! As for today’s, I think the title speaks for itself. This recipe is amazing and SO ridiculously easy to make. Quickly throw it together to bring for lunch – I just heated up the leftovers about 6 hours later and they were just as good. All hail sandwich week!

Ep227 – Dijon mustard, honey and soy sauce. That’s it. Mix the sauce together, spread over a beautiful piece of salmon, then throw under the broiler. Less than ten minutes later you will have a perfectly cooked piece of salmon that tastes and smells delicious. Anyone who says they can’t cook fish has never tried this recipe before.

Asian Sloppy Joes

Ep226 – Sloppy Joes are just one of those things from your childhood that you either miss terribly or couldn’t care less. These puppies stay true to the old-school messiness of the original Joe – yet somehow come together with Asian flavoring into a sandwich you’ve never seen before. That’s what we do here on The Sam Livecast – we take a tired and old recipe and bring it back to life.
